Day 3 Praise
1 Chronicles 29 (New International Version)
10 David praised the LORD in the presence of the
whole assembly, saying,
"Praise be to you, O LORD,
God of our father Israel,
from everlasting to everlasting.
11 Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted
as head over all.
12 Wealth and honor come from you; you are the
ruler of all things. In your hands are strength
and power to exalt and give strength to all.
13 Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise
your glorious name.
14 "But who am I, and who are my people, that we
should be able to give as generously as this?
Everything comes from you, and we have given you
only what comes from your hand.
15 We are aliens and strangers in your sight,
as were all our forefathers. Our days on earth
are like a shadow, without hope.
16 O LORD our God, as for all this abundance
that we have provided for building you a temple
for your Holy Name, it comes from your hand,
and all of it belongs to you.
17 I know, my God, that you test the heart and
are pleased with integrity. All these things
have I given willingly and with honest intent.
And now I have seen with joy how willingly
your people who are here have given to you.
18 O LORD, God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac and
Israel, keep this desire in the hearts of your
people forever, and keep their hearts loyal to you.

10 所 以 ， 大 衛 在 會 眾 面 前 稱 頌 耶 和 華 說 ：
耶 和 華 ─ 我 們 的 父 ， 以 色 列 的 神 是 應 當
稱 頌 ， 直 到 永 永 遠 遠 的 ！
11 耶 和 華 啊 ， 尊 大 、 能 力 、 榮 耀 、 強 勝 、
威 嚴 都 是 你 的 ； 凡 天 上 地 下 的 都 是 你 的 ；
國 度 也 是 你 的 ， 並 且 你 為 至 高 ， 為 萬 有
之 首 。
12 豐 富 尊 榮 都 從 你 而 來 ， 你 也 治 理 萬 物 。
在 你 手 裡 有 大 能 大 力 ， 使 人 尊 大 強 盛
都 出 於 你 。
13 我 們 的 神 啊 ， 現 在 我 們 稱 謝 你 ， 讚 美
你 榮 耀 之 名 ！
14 我 算 甚 麼 ， 我 的 民 算 甚 麼 ， 竟 能 如 此
樂 意 奉 獻 ？ 因 為 萬 物 都 從 你 而 來 ， 我 們
把 從 你 而 得 的 獻 給 你 。
15 我 們 在 你 面 前 是 客 旅 ， 是 寄 居 的 ，
與 我 們 列 祖 一 樣 。 我 們 在 世 的 日 子 如 影 兒 ，
不 能 長 存 ( 或 作 沒 有 長 存 的 指 望 ) 。
16 耶 和 華 ─ 我 們 的 神 啊 ， 我 們 預 備 這 許 多
材 料 ， 要 為 你 的 聖 名 建 造 殿 宇 ， 都 是 從 你
而 來 ， 都 是 屬 你 的 。
17 我 的 神 啊 ， 我 知 道 你 察 驗 人 心 ， 喜 悅
正 直 ； 我 以 正 直 的 心 樂 意 獻 上 這 一 切 物 。
現 在 我 喜 歡 見 你 的 民 在 這 裡 都 樂 意 奉 獻
與 你 。
18 耶 和 華 ─ 我 們 列 祖 亞 伯 拉 罕 、 以 撒 、
以 色 列 的 神 啊 ， 求 你 使 你 的 民 常 存 這 樣 的
心 思 意 念 ， 堅 定 他 們 的 心 歸 向 你 ，
